Restaurant
A 76-Cover Restaurant which serves the creations by the Chefs in the making, is managed by the Student Service personnel. All known forms of F&B Service are taught to the students with practical demonstrations.
Laundry
Institute of Hotel Management Gurdaspur has a well-equipped automated laundry along with facilities for training students in Guestroom Management.
Library
The Institute has a well-stocked library with the latest books, periodicals, journals both national and international covering all aspects of Hotel, Tourism, Hospitality, Travel and Management. The library also has a good collection of Video tapes on all aspects of management and hotelier which could be viewed by the students. The Library has multimedia resources enabling students to access Internet and students are encouraged to use free E-mail facility.
Computer Lab
Equipped with 20 terminals on a Local Area Network with the latest multi-media systems with Internet connectivity. Students have hands-on experience with HMS and application packages.
Front office
Role playing, Situation Handling, Other Front Office related exercises, Property Management Systems, accounting are the key areas of training in this lab.
Boys Hostel
Capacity – 232 120 for First Year 81 for Second &112 Third Year
Situated just adjacent to the main Institute building, the hostel has a well-built Volley-Ball Court & an in-house Gymnasium.
Girls Hostel
Capacity – 60 Situated adjacent to the Faculty block, the hostel is surrounded by Green lawns, has a well-built Badminton- Court with indoor Table-Tennis facility.
